Maderna
A classically trained pianist, Maderna brought an individual and highly influential style of piano playing to the Tango. At the age of twenty-one he was already one of Caló's orchestra of stars, and in 1945, at twenty seven, he formed his own orchestra. The style is more for the concert platform than the dancefloor. (He did a number of famous arrangements of classical pieces for Tango orchestra). At the time of his death in 1951 he was about to go to the States to write film music.
